Job summary

Kiewit is seeking Senior/Principal Electrical Engineers for industrial projects across North America. You will design power, control, and energy systems, lead design teams, and collaborate with construction teams to bring designs to life.

Required PE or ability to obtain within 12 months, 8+ years of industrial electrical design, and US Citizenship. Hybrid/remote contract options available; base compensation reflects the market for senior engineers.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license required or able to obtain within 12 months.
• 8+ years of electrical design experience in industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead electrical engineering designs for large industrial facilities.
• Evaluate and apply engineering techniques for medium to large projects.
• Coordinate design efforts with construction partners and interface points.
• Perform ETAP analysis, system modeling, protection coordination, and grounding studies.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold design standards.
• Support FEED, D/B, and EPC projects across markets.
