Job summary

AFRY USA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across industrial projects and support business development. The role requires coordinating across disciplines, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while managing budgets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive electrical engineering experience, preferably in industrial and/or process industries environments.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design, project execution, and construction support activities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure, is highly desirable.
• Thorough understanding of applicable industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize workload to achieve project objectives efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
• Support business development activities by assisting with proposals, scope development, and engineering labor estimates.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to engineering team members as needed.
• Foster and maintain positive working relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Travel to client sites as required for project support, field investigations, meetings, and commissioning activities.
