Tetra Tech is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to support design and implementation of electrical systems, leading a discipline team and delivering high-quality engineering deliverables. The role involves coordinating with other disciplines, applying standards and codes, and escalating risk as needed.

Ideal candidates have 7–10+ years of experience, an EIT, and familiarity with NEC/NFPA70E. Hybrid work arrangement with travel as required in the Arvada, CO area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or ABET-accredited program.
• 7–10+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• EIT certification required; PE preferred.
• NCEES registration.
• Familiarity with NEC and NFPA70E.
• Experience with medium voltage systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead a discipline engineering team on projects with guidance.
• Design review and development of standards, specifications, and discipline QC procedures.
• Plan and manage engineering activities on a project.
• Maintain schedule and budget for assigned projects and understand scope.
• Perform power engineering tasks for processing and heavy industrial facilities under supervision.
• Support development of distribution switchgear, MCCs, panels, motor starters/VFDs.
