Convergix is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Michigan to lead electrical design and automation projects for BIW/Automotive and general automation. You will design, layout, and specify electrical hardware for custom robotic systems, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to deliver high-performance solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of hands-on experience, familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical and ePlan, and strong project execution skills.

Qualificações

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in electrical and automation system design, drafting, and design calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Manage design deliverables, timelines, and client expectations across multiple automation projects.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Support prototype validation, resolve design issues, and implement improvements.
• Stay current with automation trends, robotic technologies, and global engineering standards.
• Select and lay out all required electrical hardware for custom flexible robotic automation systems, including panels, I/O, cabling, and power distribution.
• Collaborate with your team to develop solutions that meet budgets and timeline constraints.
