Job summary

Armacell seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead controls design and automation initiatives across multiple plants in North Carolina. The role emphasizes PLC/HMI development, systems integration, and project leadership in a manufacturing environment.

You will design architectures, manage vendor interfaces, and help commission systems while upholding safety and regulatory standards. Strong Rockwell experience is required, with travel 20-30% to sites in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Tech preferred.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience in electrical controls.
• Strong ability to read and maintain electrical schematics.
• Hands-on TROUBLESHOOTING of automation and electrical systems.
• Experience with Rockwell platforms and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and integrate PLC and HMI systems (Rockwell).
• Support migrations from legacy Rockwell to modern Studio 5000/FactoryTalk View.
• Develop electrical requirements and control architectures.
• Maintain electrical documentation, schematics, and version control.
• Lead capital projects across multiple plants and ensure timelines.
