Job summary

Corning Inc. in North Carolina is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead integration and installation of process equipment and controls. You will develop project plans, supervise installation teams, and ensure safety, IP, and quality on major upgrades.

You will collaborate with IT, Mechanical, and Process engineering, review drawings, modify control software, and support commissioning across site facilities. Travel to NC sites and potentially international locations is required.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of power systems 480VAC and below.
• Translates engineering solutions to requirements for process/equipment designs.
• Works with IT, Mechanical, and Process engineering to understand functionality.
• Hands-on with equipment using typical tools and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and use project plans and timelines to achieve goals while safety, IP and quality are preserved.
• Interface with system integrators and machine builders for on-time delivery.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and lead technicians to resolve issues.
• Review and modify installation checklists, drawings, and machine specs.
• Modify software for process equipment control and understand I/O requirements.
