Job summary

Investigo is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead the design of a Class III implantable neuromodulation system for DBS. You will guide a technical team and drive high‑precision, medical‑grade electronics development.

The role requires extensive embedded and power electronics expertise, experience with FDA processes, ISO 13485, and cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, regulatory, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 8+ years (Master 6, PhD 3) in medical device development (Class III preferred).
• Minimum 5 years in a regulated industry; medical device experience preferred.
• Expertise in embedded systems, mixed-signal electronics, and power electronics.
• Experience with FDA submissions, ISO 13485, QSR, 60601/14971, FCC.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of implantable neuromodulation systems and test fixtures.
• Design and analyze embedded circuits and power management.
• Own schematic design, PCB layout, BOMs, and system integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for full system integration.
• Mentor contract manufacturing engineers and support verification and risk management.
• Prepare technical reports and design reviews.
• Support FDA/regulatory documentation and design controls.
