Job summary

S&B is seeking an Electrical Engineer to independently perform activities across all phases of electrical development and equipment design for moderate projects. A minimum of seven years in Electrical Engineering and a Texas PE license are required, with experience in evaluating vendor bids and coordinating with clients.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of seven (7) years experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered Texas professional engineer (PE) is required.
• Established NCEES Record and any additional state PE licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets with clients’ technical staff to discuss technical information and features.
• Prepares equipment specifications, inquiry and purchase requisitions for approval.
• Evaluates vendors' bids and drawings to assure compliance with specifications.
• Reviews and approves design drawings for assigned segment of a project.
• Participates in plant start-ups and field assignments as required.
