Job summary

Brick Staffing, LLC is searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical systems design for buildings and infrastructure.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, a PE license (preferred), and FE certification. You’ll work in a hybrid environment with travel to project sites as needed, delivering design documents, calculations, and specifications for commercial and public-sector facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year engineering program.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience designing electrical systems for buildings, facilities, or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and public-sector facilities, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low-voltage systems, and HVAC electrical support.
• Conduct field investigations and assessments of existing buildings to evaluate electrical infrastructure, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Develop conceptual designs, engineering calculations, equipment selections, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
• Support projects involving electrical infrastructure modernization, energy-efficiency improvements, EV charging stations, and grid-connected solar/PV systems.
• Prepare technical audit reports and recommendations for facility upgrades and system improvements.
• Perform electrical system evaluations and coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project development.
• Support construction administration, including reviewing submittals, responding to technical questions, and assisting with project implementation.
• Manage assigned engineering activities while maintaining project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to deliver effective engineering solutions.
