Job summary

Insight Global in the Grand Rapids area is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and integrate electrical systems for combat vehicle applications, including FPGA, PCB, harnesses, enclosures, controllers, sensors, motor/generators, inverters, and effectors.

You will help develop hybrid power packs, test components, and integrate battery packs, inverters, and electric motors, and create controller architecture design plans.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of power analysis, wire sizing, and Spice analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electrical systems for combat vehicle use.
• Integrate FPGA/PCB/harnesses and power electronics.
• Develop hybrid power pack concepts with battery packs and inverters.
• Create controller architecture design plans for powertrain control.
