Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead building systems design for projects across New England. You will oversee power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems, and deliver one-line diagrams, load calculations, and detailed drawings.

The role requires a PE license, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and eight or more years of experience. You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with architects and project teams, and participate in QA/QC and

Qualifications

Licensed PE preferred
Eight or more years of electrical building systems design experience
Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and energy efficiency principles
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
Ability to lead and mentor engineers and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

Lead power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems design
Prepare load calculations, equipment sizing, one-line diagrams, and detailed drawings
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project teams
Manage construction administration including site visits and technical reviews
Conduct QA/QC to ensure technical excellence
Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decisions
Interact with clients and present engineering solutions
