Job summary

Cortina Solutions seeks an Electrical Engineer to support NSWC Panama City contract, delivering HWIL integration and hardware troubleshooting for complex naval projects. You will bridge hardware subsystems with virtual test environments, performing power/data path evaluations and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3–7+ years of civilian or military electrical/hardware engineering experience.
• Experience with HWIL/HIL simulations and test environments.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and analyzers.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience supporting hardware troubleshooting and interface testing.

Responsibilities

• Support HWIL integration and testing between hardware components and simulated environments.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain electrical hardware to evaluate performance.
• Provide ISEA support, hardware modifications, and fidelity improvements.
• Assist with day-to-day HWIL lab operations and calibration.
• Execute hardware interface testing and interoperability checks for dynamic scenarios.
• Collaborate with systems, QA, and software teams to define integration requirements.
