Job summary

Cortina Solutions is seeking a high-impact Lead Modeling and Simulation Engineer to lead the execution of a complex contract supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). You must be ready to own the mission, overseeing complex, multi-domain efforts that shape the future of naval warfare technology.

The ideal candidate will be expected to lead with Excellence, serve with Integrity, and approach every problem with a drive to Get Things Done.

Qualifications

10+ years of civilian or military experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Modeling and Simulation, or related technical discipline.
Experience using computer simulation technologies, including probabilistic, SIL, and HIL simulations.
Proficiency in C++ and Fortran for simulation and modeling.
Experience developing virtual data visualization products to display real-time simulation results.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute computer simulations (probabilistic, SIL, HIL) to assess engineering solutions under varied conditions.
Model dynamic, multi-variable scenarios using C++ and Fortran.
Develop virtual data visualization products to represent real-time simulation results and enhance stakeholder understanding.
Support simulation development using the Unity game engine.
