Job summary

The Boring Company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to enhance the power systems of our Tunnel Boring Machines in Bastrop, TX. You will lead the design and optimization of critical power systems, collaborating with other engineering teams. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in medium/high voltage systems, and experience with circuit design. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with medium voltage and high voltage power systems, transformers, switchgears, and electrical panels.
• Strong fundamentals in medium and high voltage power distribution.
• Experience designing transformers, switchgears, and high voltage panels.

Responsibilities

• Design and test electrical systems for controlling the TBM and Loop transportation system.
• Oversee the development of data acquisition and power electronic systems.
• Work with engineers to integrate electrical systems with mechanical structures.
