Job summary
Constellation is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with strong HV transmission and data center primary power experience. You will design, implement, and maintain reliable power solutions supporting critical infrastructure and energy systems.
The role focuses on on-site power distribution, solar PV and storage integration, and collaboration across teams to deliver projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- 8+ years of experience in high voltage transmission, substation engineering, sited generation, and data center power systems.
- Proficiency with electrical design software (ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with NEC/IEEE/IEC codes.
- Experience with solar PV systems and battery storage technologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform load analysis, equipment selection, and system integration for utility and industrial power systems.
- Lead electrical design and layout of data center primary power distribution systems (UPS, switchgear, backups).
- Develop and implement on-site power generation and distribution strategies (diesel gensets, gas turbines, fuel cells, hybrids).
- Design and integrate solar PV arrays and battery energy storage for commercial/industrial use.
- Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery.
