Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. in the United States seeks an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in high voltage transmission, substation design, data center primary power infrastructure, on-site generation, solar PV, and storage systems.

You will design, implement, and maintain reliable power solutions that support critical infrastructure and advanced energy systems, coordinating with project teams and ensuring successful delivery across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8 years of experience in high voltage transmission, substation engineering, sited generation, and data center power systems.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with NEC/IEEE/IEC.
• Experience with solar PV and battery storage technologies.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform load analysis, equipment selection, and system integration for power systems.
• Lead electrical design and layout of data center primary power distribution including UPS and switchgear.
• Develop on-site power generation and distribution strategies (diesel, gas turbines, fuel cells, hybrids).
• Design and integrate solar PV arrays and battery energy storage for commercial/industrial use.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and power system performance models.
• Prepare technical documentation: single-line diagrams, schematics, specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams for timely delivery.
• Support commissioning, testing, and on-site troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Design HV transmission and distribution circuits meeting engineering standards.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and talent development practices.
