Job summary

Protingent Staffing seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead detailed electrical design and schematic capture for complex PCBAs featuring multi-core compute platforms. You will own module-level architecture, power delivery networks (PDN), and block integration, while designing and validating high-speed interfaces with a focus on SI/PI.

You will collaborate with mechanical, thermal, firmware, and optical teams to deliver production-ready platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years hands-on electrical design in complex digital hardware.
• Proven experience with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR4/5, MIPI, USB/ UFS.
• Practical know-how in PDN design, PMIC sequencing and power architecture.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and layout tools (Cadence/Altium).
• Bring-up, debugging, signal characterization, and root-cause analysis expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed electrical design and schematic capture for complex PCBAs with multi-core compute platforms.
• Own module-level architecture, PDN, and integration of blocks into platforms.
• Design and optimize high-speed interfaces (PCIe, LPDDR4/5, MIPI, USB-C/UFS) with SI/PI focus.
• Create multi-rail power trees and high-current DC-DC converter designs.
• Lead board-level bring-up, DVE, and hardware characterization using test equipment.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, firmware, and optical teams for production-ready systems.
