Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or eligible within six months.
• 7+ years of progressive design experience in power distribution, lighting, life safety, and related electrical systems for healthcare and commercial projects.
• Experience managing multiple projects and delivering to client specs on time and within budget.
• Self-motivated with strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Well organized with good note-taking and documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of electrical engineering project work.
• Technical training and development of staff.
• Establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications for electrical discipline area.
• Engineer of Record.
• Provide on-the-spot advice and cost estimates.
• Coordination with disciplines and outside consultants.
• Technical interface with code officials and contractors.
