Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer in Torrance, CA to own full lifecycle hardware designs for complex circuits and embedded software. You will lead analog and digital development for tactical platforms and coordinate with cross-functional teams through SRR, PDR, and CDR.

The role requires 5–8+ years in circuit design, strong C/C++ and HDL skills, and hands-on prototyping experience. Expect on-site collaboration, Altium Designer usage, and compliance with military specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8+ years of analog and digital circuit design experience.
• Hands-on experience assembling, testing, debugging, and programming hardware prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Own circuit designs end-to-end from requirements through fabrication and testing.
• Design and develop analog and digital hardware for embedded systems and tactical platforms.
• Develop embedded software and firmware, including C/C++ for microcontrollers and VHDL/Verilog for FPGA.
• Assemble, test, debug, and program hardware prototypes and production units.
