Job summary

Itron is seeking a hardware engineer to drive the development, analysis and testing of analog/digital hardware for energy and utility applications. You will define system architecture, select components, create schematics and PCB layouts, and prepare designs for manufacturing.

The role involves coordinating across firmware, mechanical and QA teams, performing reliability testing, and ensuring conformance to IEC/ISO EMI standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze and test analog/digital hardware for residential, commercial or industrial apps.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout, BOMs, and design release for production.
• Coordinate with firmware, mechanical, and QA teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
• Support validation, ALT and emissions testing to meet standards.
