Job summary

Arcfield is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to deliver complex electronic hardware designs from concept through verification. You will develop schematics, perform testing, and create prototypes while collaborating across disciplines to ensure system-level performance and manufacturability.

You will document designs, execute verification plans, and assist with hardware bring-up and debugging. Some travel to customer sites will be required as part of program activities.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field and relevant experience.
• Experience designing electronic hardware including schematics, components, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with verification plans and test campaigns for electronic hardware.
• Proficiency in high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232/422/485, CAN interfaces.
• Hands-on prototype development, debugging, and board bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware, circuits, and assemblies from concept to verification.
• Perform product testing and create models and prototypes for development and validation.
• Develop schematics and related technical documentation.
• Execute verification and validation plans for electronic assemblies and boards.
• Develop hardware bring-up procedures for prototype and production boards; perform debugging.
• Investigate hardware anomalies and support corrective actions.
• Support manufacturing, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical/electronic systems.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to improve product capability and manufacturability.
• Provide technical guidance or training to junior staff as needed.
• Travel as required to support customer meetings, integration, and testing activities.
