Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer to design, analyze, and test analog and digital components for residential, commercial, and industrial products.

You will create schematics and PCB layouts, select parts, and build prototypes while coordinating with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure a smooth transition to production. Responsibilities include reliability testing, ALT, emissions evaluations, documentation, and BOM management to support manufacturability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field plus 3 years of product development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze and test analog and digital electronic hardware for residential, commercial or industrial applications.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts; select components and build prototypes.
• Coordinate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing and quality teams; support release to manufacturing.
• Conduct reliability testing including ALT and emissions evaluations; ensure compliance with IEC/ISO/EMC/EMI.
• Document design artifacts, BOMs, test plans and results; assist supply chain and manufacturing transitions.
