Job summary

Broadata Communications, Inc. (BCI) in Torrance, CA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for development and test of Pro AV products. The role bridges hardware validation and automated test development, with hands-on debugging and cross-functional problem solving.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electronics development, board bring-up, and V&V testing, and can read schematics and PCB layouts. On-site work in Torrance, no remote option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on electronics development, hardware validation, and board bring-up.
• Experience with embedded hardware bring-up and V&V testing.
• Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and PCB layouts.
• Experience with electrical test equipment and problem solving across hardware & software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hardware development, design reviews, testing, troubleshooting, documentation.
• Perform board bring-up including power rail validation and processor initialization.
• Execute design verification and validation testing for new products.
• Debug hardware and automated test systems; identify root causes of failures.
• Collaborate with software/firmware/FPGA teams and overseas developers.
