Job summary

Accelera Staffing seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to support process manufacturing, food and beverage, and industrial facilities. You will guide projects from planning to commissioning, acting as the primary technical liaison for clients and coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

You will design electrical systems, manage budgets and schedules, and perform on-site evaluations and arc flash studies to ensure safety and compliance. Domestic travel is required up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in process manufacturing, industrial settings, or similar environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of plant electrical infrastructure and industrial power distribution systems.
• Experience creating electrical documentation: load studies, one-line diagrams, detailed layouts.
• Proficient with AutoCAD MEP and power-analysis tools (EasyPower, SKM, ETAP).
• Solid understanding of NEC requirements.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and client interactions.
• Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects and make sound technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical engineering initiatives from scoping to delivery.
• Create electrical designs including load summaries, conduit layouts, and equipment placements.
• Manage project resources, timelines, budgets, risk and deliverables.
• Serve as the main technical liaison for clients and coordinate with contractors and internal teams.
• Perform on-site facility evaluations and assist with electrical system reviews.
• Conduct arc flash analysis to meet safety standards and codes.
• Draft technical specs, RFPs, and project status updates.
• Assess impacts of project changes on deliverables and costs.
• Contribute to project close-out reviews and process improvements.
