Job summary

Meriton Energy Partners seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Livingston, TX operation. The role is hands-on, supporting rental and sales of power generation equipment with commissioning, startup, testing and field troubleshooting.

You will interact directly with customers, work across generators, switchgear, transformers and protection/controls, and travel nationwide and internationally. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with electrical power generation
• Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment in the field
• Exposure to generators, switchgear, transformers, protection relays and control systems
• Ability to work with customers, operations teams and technical personnel

Responsibilities

• Support application engineering for rental and sales operations
• Commission, start up, test and troubleshoot electrical power generation equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in the field
• Assist customers with safe and effective operation of equipment
• Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites and projects
• Maintain a strong focus on safety in all field activities
