Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our Federal Programs Team for work at a Fort Meade, MD project site.

You will perform electrical design, production support, and critical analyses from concept through construction, collaborating with engineers, planners, and clients. The role requires strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, 7+ years in electrical design, and the ability to obtain a US Government-secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering design.
• Ability to obtain a US Government-issued Secret clearance.
• US citizenship is required due to client requirements.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and design/build.
• Experience with building and infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering design and production support from project inception through construction.
• Utilize analytical techniques and software tools (AutoCAD, Revit, TRACE 3D Plus) to solve technical problems.
• Develop construction and installation plans, specifications, and building layout updates in coordination with owners and clients.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to explain findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure conformance with regulations and project requirements.
