Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer, Factory Design in Austin.

You will lead electrical power distribution design for production facilities, delivering NEC-driven, code-compliant solutions from concept to energization. Responsibilities include creating single-line diagrams, panel schedules, grounding drawings, and lighting layouts in Revit MEP, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6-10 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing MEP electrical design.
• Expert-level proficiency with Revit MEP for deliverables.
• Proficiency using NEC to coordinate overcurrent protection and ground/transformer sizing.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power distribution design from scope through construction, ensuring code-compliant outcomes.
• Apply the NEC to develop code-compliant designs and set design direction for the team.
• Own IFC/IFC deliverables including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, grounding drawings, conduit drawings, power plans, and lighting layouts in Revit MEP.
• Coordinate with Design Managers, Manufacturing, Construction, and other stakeholders; schedule field walks and surveys to validate design intent.
• Review equipment submittals, update specifications, respond to RFIs, and mentor junior engineers.
