Job summary

Austin, TX onsite Electrical Fabrication Designer role focused on designing and building factory infrastructure. You will model electrical systems in Revit MEP, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and deliver clash-free designs for industrial facilities.

Ideal candidate has 3–5 years of electrical design experience, experience with conduit and cable tray, and a solid understanding of LOD requirements including LOD300.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electrical design experience preferred.
• LOD knowledge including LOD 300 minimum.
• Revit modeling - required and expected.
• Experience designing industrial facilities or large commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, drafting and 3D modeling using Revit for electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, security, telecom).
• Use NEC to ensure designs comply with national codes.
• Coordinate with engineers across disciplines and manage 3D coordination.
• Create clash-free models to LOD400 and review with stakeholders using Revizto.
• Interface with construction trades and perform field walks to verify installation.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
