Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Electrical Engineer, Factory Design in Austin, TX to join our Infrastructure Electrical Engineering team. You will own the electrical power distribution design from scope through construction, ensuring systems are built to spec and ready for energization.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, 3–5 years of MEP electrical design experience, and proficiency with Revit MEP to produce single-line diagrams, panel schedules, grounding drawings, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial MEP electrical design.
• Proficiency preparing and completing electrical deliverables using Revit MEP.
• Experience using the NEC to calculate overcurrent protection for conductors and transformers, and to size conductors and grounding.
• Experience designing low voltage distribution (480V to 120V) across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical power distribution design from scope through construction, ensuring the system is built to spec and ready for energization.
• Apply the NEC to develop code-compliant designs, including overcurrent protection calculations for conductors and transformers.
• Coordinate across Design Managers, Manufacturing, Construction, and other stakeholders to keep projects aligned from design through field execution.
• Prepare IFP/IFC electrical deliverables in Revit MEP, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, grounding drawings, underground conduit drawings, power plans, and lighting layouts.
• Support field walks and surveys with peers and Construction, review equipment submittals and specifications, and answer RFIs and design questions.
