Job summary

LMK Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Senior/Staff Electrical Engineer to own the end-to-end design of complex electrical subsystems for an autonomous robotic dispensing system in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

You will drive hardware architecture, SCUs, and engineering standards while collaborating with firmware and mechanical teams. This role emphasizes hands-on, lifecycle ownership and impact on patient safety.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of hands-on electrical engineering across multiple product cycles.
• End-to-end ownership of complex electrical subsystems from blank-page to production.
• Deep experience in power electronics, motor control, sensor interfaces, or mixed-signal design.
• Schematic capture, PCB layout, and BOM management using industry tools.
• Familiarity with EMC, safety, or environmental standards and design reviews.
• Strong documentation of design rationale and test results.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical subsystems end-to-end from requirements through schematic, layout, prototyping, and production bring-up.
• Create and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs with established release processes.
• Evaluate sensors, actuators, and power components for regulated pharmaceutical environments.
• Define and execute testing specifications; document findings and root causes for continuous improvement.
• Investigate hardware issues during prototyping and production, including signal integrity and EMC/EMI.
• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers on interfaces, connector pinouts, and test plans.
• Apply DFM/DFT and supply chain considerations to ensure design is production-ready.
