Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior electrical engineer in the Philadelphia area to lead an engineering team delivering advisory services and designs for energy projects. You will mentor staff, collaborate with account managers, and help grow the energy & Power Solutions portfolio.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in design/consulting, PE licensure, and strong client-management, proposal, and project execution skills. Hybrid work in the Philadelphia office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 10 years of engineering design or consulting experience
• HV or MV Substations experience
• Professional Engineering licensure (any US state)
• Proven ability to engage with clients, develop relationships and win work
• Experience with proposal development and project execution planning
• Passion for mentoring junior staff
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Willingness to travel (typically <50%)
• Availability to work at least 2 days per week in the Philadelphia, PA office

Responsibilities
