Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in New York for an embedded controls role. Hybrid work includes 1-2 remote days weekly, with an opportunity to contribute across the product lifecycle in a hands-on environment.

You will design, test, and iterate analog/digital circuits, work with microcontrollers, and lead troubleshooting from concept to production in a collaborative setting. Growth into leadership is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design and development.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuits, microcontrollers, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and improve embedded electronic controls.
• Collaborate on new product development from concept through production.
• Create and review electrical schematics (Altium or OrCAD preferred).
• Evaluate test plans, perform peer reviews, and ensure product reliability.
• Lead troubleshooting to the component level for production and service support.
• Participate in cross-functional project management and continuous improvement initiatives.
