Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Clearfield, UT, seeks an Electrical/Principal Electrical Engineer to support the ICBM Sustainment program. You will join a team that interfaces with internal design, customers, and suppliers, attend technical meetings, and help maintain the technical baseline with drawings, orders, and manuals.

Requirements include a STEM degree and experience, Top Secret clearance eligibility, knowledge of PLM tools, and expertise in electrical architecture or power

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering experience in at least two of the following fields: electrical architecture, power systems, cable design, circuit design, EDI, interface definition, or power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Attending internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings
• Support formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates
• Ensure appropriate coordination between electrical design and other integration teams. Coordinate electrical system engineering content and work products.
• Conduct electrical analysis and/or develop electrical designs
• Provide updates to technical baseline to include drawings, Technical Orders, and Technical Manuals.
• Research and identify suitable substitute parts for obsolete legacy equipment.
• Identify repair procedures for failures found in the field
• Coordinate activities with a subcontractor.
• Trouble shooting CCAs that do not work properly.
