Job summary

Sechan Electronics, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer III to lead DoD product design and build-to-print projects. You will manage full design lifecycles from concept to production, mentor engineers, and ensure EMI/EMC and signal integrity analyses are performed.

This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with program management, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams. The candidate should have deep experience with analog, digital, and RF systems, plus experience with Altium

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of design and production of electrical products and systems for high reliability DoD products.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance
• Experience leading design, verification, and transition to production on complex analog, digital, and RF products.
• Proven mentoring and leadership of engineering staff.
• Familiarity with industry standards and process models such as CMMI, Six Sigma for Design, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for DoD products and systems.
• Lead design programs from concept through production and sustainment.
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and fixtures for CCAs and electrical systems.
• Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to engineering and test staff.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, and ECP/RFV processes.
• Guide cross-functional teams across PM, procurement, QA, and manufacturing.
• Manage complex build-to-print projects and EMI/EMC analyses.
• Drive continuous improvements in design and test throughput.
• Ensure successful transition to production and sustainment.
