Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Reliability Engineer to plan and oversee research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation and maintenance of diverse equipment and systems. You will work as a team member or lead on less complex assignments, generating design specifications and coordinating across disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, with travel potential and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
• Good communications and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software applications.
• Position may require travel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of design development, analysis or review tasks under minimal supervision.
• Lead on less complex tasks or parts of a design or analysis work.
• Generate complete design specifications for complex projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, finance and program management to define system specs and requirements.
• Establish and maintain project status filing systems or databases.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
• Interface with customers from quotation to design, tests and reviews.
• Conduct site visits, experiments and problem analysis, propose solutions.
