Job summary

The role demands strong grounding in DC/DC buck controllers, isolated topologies, and H‑bridge actuation, with attention to EMI/EMC and robust bring‑up and debugging capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of professional electrical engineering experience, or 6+ with a relevant Master’s.
• Experience in digital I/O, relay control, and SBC integration with Ethernet/RS‑232/RS‑485.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for circuit cards and modules with digital I/O, relay control, and power drive electronics.
• Design digital I/O and relay circuits with state feedback for health monitoring.
• Integrate COTS SBCs/industrial PCs with power, Ethernet, USB, and serial interfaces.
• Define DC/DC buck controller solutions, including isolated topologies.
• Design H‑bridge and dual H‑bridge stages for rotators and motion drives.
• Perform SPICE/SIMetrix simulations and interpret results.
• Coordinate PCB layout to ensure proper routing and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Mentor junior engineers and support RCCA in lab/production.
