Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Chandler office, focusing on leading multiple design projects and coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality electrical designs for complex buildings and industrial systems.

The ideal candidate will hold a PE license in AZ or NM, have 10+ years of power distribution design experience, and be proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, and IEEE-compliant tools.

Qualifications

Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) in AZ or NM.
10 years of related experience in electrical engineering and power system design.
Experience in design and construction of commercial, industrial, and utility-scale power distribution systems.
Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical lead and design manager on multiple concurrent projects.
Establish project schedules and monitor design timelines.
Coordinate cross-discipline design activities with architecture, mechanical, structural, civil, and technology teams.
Prepare detailed site analysis reports evaluating feasibility, utility conditions, site constraints, and construction challenges.
Produce project documentation including electrical layouts, site plans, one-lines, lighting, life safety, and low-voltage systems.
