Job summary

DLR Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems from concept through construction on a variety of building projects. You will help develop objectives, prepare calculations, layouts, narratives, and ensure coordination with architecture and other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience designing power and lighting systems on complex projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in good standing.
• Proven experience with BIM, especially Revit MEP.
• LEED Accredited Professional and green building experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems from schematics through construction administration.
• Develop project objectives, goals, and documentation policies.
• Prepare engineering calculations, layouts, reports, and narratives.
• Coordinate electrical design with architecture, mechanical and other disciplines.
