Job summary

EAPC seeks an Electrical Engineer to join our integrated team of architects and engineers in the United States. The ideal candidate will design, detail, and verify electrical systems for new buildings and renovations, coordinating with multiple disciplines and clients.

We value professionals with a PE license, strong communication, and proven project management. The role involves mentoring junior staff, BIM directions, and occasional travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years experience in a firm or consulting environment preferred.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred.
• Project management and business development understanding is desired.
• Experience with REVIT, SKM and AutoCAD strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design, detailing, and calculations for all design phases of new buildings and renovations.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines.
• Edit and write electrical specifications.
• Perform electrical investigations and feasibility studies with cost estimates.
• Mentor EIT-level staff and direct BIM Modelers on electrical drawings.
• Engage in construction administration activities such as reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions, dimensions, and elevations.
• Support project managers with budgets and schedules; assist in proposals and contracts.
