Job summary

EAPC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team of architects, engineers, and designers. The role focuses on electrical design, detailing, and coordination across building projects, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and lead BIM tasks.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years in a consulting environment, and PE registration or eligibility. Travel to project sites will be required as needed for coordination and field verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE registration or ability to obtain PE license preferred.
• 8+ years experience in firm/consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, detailing and specifications.
• Experience with BIM modeling and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design, detailing, and calculations for new buildings and renovations.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, structural teams.
• Edit and write electrical specifications.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost estimates as needed.
• Mentor EIT-level staff and coordinate BIM Modelers.
