Job summary

Earthwise Energy Technologies (EET) seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) – Department Lead to establish and lead its first electrical department. You will drive growth from the ground up, transforming capabilities from mechanical engineering to full electrical services within a growing team.

The role requires leading a new department, mentoring staff, and delivering detailed schematics for diverse facilities while managing budgets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be a Professional Engineer licensed in RI and MA.
• 10–15 years in electrical engineering for building systems.
• Experience leading teams or establishing new functions.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, hospital/institutional, data centers, educational, municipal facilities.
• AutoCAD 2025 and Revit 2025 preferred; MS Office and Bluebeam.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication, and ability to grow a discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high‑performing electrical engineering department, mentoring staff and defining workflows.
• Develop detailed schematics and bid documents for projects including power, lighting, fire alarm, and standby power.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, cost estimates, field investigations, and construction administration.
• Grow electrical services and generate new business opportunities with leadership.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, architects, and building owners to deliver high‑quality solutions.
