Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience supporting military or defense programs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
• Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues and predict potential programmatic and technical risks.
• Proven track record of building relationships, fostering collaboration and working cross‑functionally with multidisciplinary teams.
• Must be detail oriented with a good knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with CAD software, preference to AutoCAD.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a DoD Secret or higher clearance that has been granted or renewed in the last 5 years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
• Flexibility to support occasional overtime, weekend work, shift work and site travel (CONUS).
• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define architecture content and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Apply knowledge of Electrical Systems Engineering practices, networks, SDLC, and IT infrastructure management.
• Provide analysis, design, development, implementation and security assessments to ensure RMF compliance.
• Perform system-level analyses, trade studies, and allocate functional requirements to subsystems.
• Ensure all program requirements are met, risks identified and mitigated, and processes followed.
• Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and security.
