Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, UT seeks a Staff Electrical Engineer to join the Sentinel program and lead Weapon System Electrical Design Integration efforts. You will drive design processes, mentor diverse teams, and ensure robust electrical interfaces across the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include system integration, test planning, supplier reviews, and verifying connectivity and interconnect diagrams. Requires active Secret clearance and 12+ years of aerospace hardware experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM field from an accredited university with 12+ years of relevant experience; Master’s with 10 years; PhD with 8 years.
• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher; SAP certification eligibility
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in design, development, and integration for aerospace/defense systems
• Experience with MBSE, analog/digital electronics, and system-level interconnects

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead system-level electrical design integration across the weapon system lifecycle
• Collaborate with technical leadership on requirements flow-down and subsystem analysis
• Plan, execute, and document test activities for environmental and functional testing
• Manage electrical interfaces, diagrams, and connectivity across teams and suppliers
• Review and ensure compliance with interface control documents and qualification plans
