Job summary

Equinix in the United States (Dallas area) is seeking an experienced electrical systems engineer to mentor junior staff and lead delivery of data-center projects. You will plan, design, implement and maintain electrical systems, collaborating across design, construction and operations teams to ensure reliable power and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in electrical system design, operations, maintenance and project planning.
• Experience with data centers or mission-critical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs for critical electrical activities within a defined SLA; validate technical accuracy, sequencing and safety requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis for electrical incidents and drive CAPA closures.
• Provide expert operating knowledge of engineering systems and diagnostics.
• Mentor junior team members and direct project teams and vendors.
• Coordinate with design, construction, site operations and external vendors on projects.
• Develop and maintain engineering design standards, procedures and training materials.
