Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer Data Center to lead detailed designs for large-scale data center environments, onsite five days a week, with emphasis on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

You will work across AutoCAD/Revit/BIM environments, conduct field surveys, review drawings, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with clients to define project requirements under tight schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to problem solve and handle ambiguous scopes to provide flexible solutions.
• Experience delivering designs for data center environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed design of large-scale data center environments, potentially leading teams dedicated to these designs.
• Perform tasks within budgeted hours and deadlines, integrating schedules and project criteria into layouts.
• Provide guidance on design risk factors for redundancy and resiliency.
• Conduct field surveys and data collection to assess existing facilities and prepare summary reports.
• Prepare/review technical drawings to ensure installations meet standards and customer requirements.
• Review modeling work and ensure designs comply with specifications and customer requirements.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and designers; provide training in areas of expertise.
• Coordinate with internal and external clients to determine project requirements.
