Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an experienced electrical design lead for hyperscale data centers in Michigan. You will lead detailed electrical design for large-scale facilities, possibly guiding the design team, and coordinate with project teams and field personnel to keep work on scope, budget, and schedule.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 11+ years of related experience including hyperscale data centers of at least 40 MW, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM; PE

Qualifications

• Experience on hyperscale data centers of at least 40 MW.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
• Onsite work five days per week; PE license and data center knowledge preferred.

Assess design risks related to redundancy and resiliency, survey existing facilities, prepare and review engineering deliverables, mentor junior staff, and coordinate directly with clients.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 11 years of related experience, including prior work on hyperscale data centers of at least 40 MW. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM, have strong communication skills, and be able to work onsite five days per week; a PE license and knowledge of data center types and tier ratings are preferred.
