Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join our collaborative design team on data centers, offices, and industrial projects. Travel to job sites may be required for observations and client meetings, enriching project experience and cross-discipline coordination.

You will design electrical systems, review submittals, and prepare specifications while mentoring junior staff and ensuring timely, on-budget delivery. This role requires a B.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Electrical Engineering design experience in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Electrical P.E. license or Engineering in Training certification preferred.
• Experience designing power systems for data centers, commercial offices, manufacturing facilities, medical buildings, or other large commercial projects.
• Experience working independently, managing priorities and providing mentorship to junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems and perform design calculations.
• Review, signing and sealing of projects.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, preparation of record drawings, site visits, inspections and participation in commissioning work.
• Writing and editing of electrical equipment specifications, selecting equipment, electrical systems and devices.
• Ensure jobs are completed accurately, within deadlines and on budget.
