Job summary

NPAworldwide seeks a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to steer detailed electrical design for hyperscale data centers in the United States. You will coordinate with project teams, field staff and clients to ensure delivery on scope, budget and schedule, while mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in engineering and 11+ years of experience in hyperscale data center projects (40 MW+).

Lead detailed electrical design for large-scale hyperscale data centers, potentially directing the design team, and coordinate with project teams, field personnel, and clients to deliver projects on scope, budget, and schedule. Assess design risks related to redundancy and resiliency, survey existing facilities, prepare and review engineering deliverables, and mentor junior engineers and designers.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 11 years of related experience, including prior work on hyperscale data centers of at least 40 MW. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM, communicate effectively with clients, and be able to work on-site five days per week; a PE license and knowledge of data center design types and tier ratings are preferred.
