Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a senior engineer to lead mixed-discipline C&F design projects for semiconductor chamber hardware in the Global Velocity Lab Engineering group. The role emphasizes concept-to-test workflows, stakeholder collaboration, and on-site in-lab activity with possible remote days with manager approval.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years (or 8+ with a Master’s) in electrical engineering, systems engineering, and RF/power design, with strong documentation and test planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 12+ years of experience, or Master’s with 8+ years.
• Strong systems engineering experience and ability to lead multi-disciplinary design projects.
• Experience with RF, high voltage, power distribution, and safety interlocks.

Responsibilities

• Lead C&F design projects from concept to test/validation of semiconductor chamber hardware.
• Conduct feasibility studies and document plans, risks, and decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and manage offshore design resources to meet deliverables.
