Job summary
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in Maumee, Ohio. The candidate must be a licensed professional engineer and will oversee designer work, provide technical leadership, and review design packages for quality and compliance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering is required.
- Licensed professional engineer in Ohio is required.
- NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards knowledge.
- Experience leading mid-sized and large projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Engineer of Record with QAQC on projects and coordinate with supervisor or electrical department leader.
- Prepare effective work plans and man-hour budgets for approval.
- Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects.
- Participates in formulating and coordinating proposals and provides marketing support including Business Development.
- Mentor junior staff in technical and business practices and in achieving corporate goals.
- Assist in verifying that all design aspects comply with local codes and apply code provisions.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to provide a coordinated design.
